1. Why night you need to be careful when you live in Riffley Park?What are the problems in Riffley Park?

It is that it is very bad in that little city

2. What if they had move into a better area to live?

What if they had stayed living where they were?

If they had move into a better area to live that means she might of had to move school.

If they had stay where they were living before everything would of not caused up in so much trouble.

4. The face of Maria’s mother changes when she hears about the fight. What do you think is going through her mind?

I think she knows that Maria knows about the fight. And she probably was shocked and want to move somewhere else.

5. Explain whether you think Jade is a good friend or not.

I think in this story she is a good friend because she walked Maria around and showed her around.

6. Why do you think the police became involved after the big party across the road? Make a list of some of the questions the policewoman might ask the family.

7. What do you think about Jade’s comment? “Better be careful….you don’t want to get anyone in trouble.”What does she mean when she says this? To make sure that no trouble around because it is really bad.

8. Why do you think Maria changed her mind and talked to Mum? Do you think they will go to the police? Why/why not? Yes I think they will go to the police station because it is really serious this issue.

9. Write the conversation you think Maria and her Mum have at the end of the story. What do you think might happen next? I think that Maria’s mum will go to the police station and apologize to them because Maria didn't tell the truth.

10. Why do you think Jade knows everything about everyone in Riffley Park? She lived there for a long time that’s what I think.

11. Why do you think the illustrations were drawn like this, and comprised of these colours? I think because he’s trying to make the story interesting and make it sound really interesting.
