Anzac

Battalion
a large body of troops ready for battle, especially an infantry unit forming part of a brigade.
Sniper
a person who shoots from a hiding place, especially accurately and at long range.
Trench
a long, narrow ditch
Fleas
a small wingless jumping insect which feeds on the blood of mammals and birds. It sometimes transmits diseases through its bite, including plague and myxomatosis.
Mud
soft, sticky matter resulting from the mixing of earth and water.
Chlorine
the chemical element of atomic number 17, a toxic, irritant, pale green gas.
Horror
an intense feeling of fear, shock, or disgust.
Death
the action or fact of dying or being killed; the end of the life of a person or organism.
Destruction
the action or process of causing so much damage to something that it no longer exists or cannot be repaired.
Troops
soldiers or armed forces.
Corps
a main subdivision of an army in the field, consisting of two or more divisions.
Horses
a solid-hoofed plant-eating domesticated mammal with a flowing mane and tail, used for riding, racing, and to carry and pull load
Dogs
an unpleasant, contemptible, or wicked man.

    Nice blog post about your ANZAC vocabulary learning, I really like the words you used such as "Domesticated" and also "Contemptible". Don't forget those capital letters at the start of sentences! Were you given these words to research?
